We’re drinking lots of coffee today, after a packed out press launch for Roxy Lanes last night.

Media and bloggers turned out in their droves to support the opening of the new boutique four lane bowling alley, cocktail bar and restaurant on Bond Street in Leeds city centre.

We worked with our client Jones Bar Group to make the night a big success, getting our new friends The Pigeon Detectives and Sunshine Underground to come along and compete in a bowling match against each other (well done Pigeons….next time, Sunnies!), before inviting the media up to the lanes to compete for the champion title. They were helped along by two female pro-bowlers who showed them how it’s done.

Nice one to BBC Radio Leeds who got the highest score of the night, beating the likes of Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds List and Capital FM. They’ll now go into the Roxy Hall of Fame.

It’s hit the headlines, gone wild on social media, and the phone's not stopped ringing with people wanting to book. And when there’s boutique booze and balls, what’s not to like?
