Things we love

We love lots of things, and sometimes it doesn’t take much to get us excited. Each week, we’ll be revealing the top five things that got our attention. Here’s this week’s:

1. Prince’s concert in Manchester

One Souper went, one didn’t. Much office tension ensued, but one thing we both definitely agree on is how cool the legend is and that he’s still rocking it at 55. And at least the Souper who didn’t see him on Friday will get to see him at Glasto, rumours pending.

2. M&S’s new content-focused website

The new M&S website has impressed us no end. It’s visually appealing, content-rich and curated throughout, just like our favourite glossy magazines. Online shopping just got a lot more interesting.

3. Joe Simons and Mike Lawton

Joe is the designer who created our brand, and Mike is the web developer who built our site. We think both look totally fabulous and want to say a massive thanks to both for their brilliant work. Find out more about their talents at www.joesimons.co.uk  and www.mikelawton.co.uk.

4. The new range of herbal tea from Taylors of Harrogate

We love a calming herbal tea break during a busy day, and the new range from Taylors of Harrogate is particularly delicious. There are six flavours in the new range, but our favourites are spiced apple and sweet rhubarb.

5. The new ‘do us a flavour’ competition from Walkers

Continuing the theme of food and drink, we love the new ‘do us a flavour’ competition from Walkers. Just put forward your inspired flavour creation and you could be in with the chance to win a million pounds if it’s chosen as the winner. Simple yet fun, plus there’s no limit on the amount of entries you can make.  We’ve entered seven flavour creations so far…
