With just over a week to go before Glastonbury Festival opens its gates, competitions offering the chance to win elusive tickets are popping up everywhere.

But the one that got our attention came from EE. The phone giant’s Glasto Gizmos competition was run via Twitter and entrants had to Tweet their most imaginative festival inventions, followed by #GlastoGizmos. The top 20 entries will each receive a pair of tickets.

The creative content competition went viral and received over 3,000 entries, giving the brand massive exposure and enabling it to maximize its sponsorship of the festival. We even entered and we’re pretty confident our idea might see us bag a pair of tickets, even if we do say so ourselves! Who doesn’t need a battery operated self-heating sleeping bag linked to their phone, which they can text to tell it to warm up en-route to their tent? Winners will be announced next week.
