Content Soup diary, September ’21
Six great things that happened to us in September:
💆♀️We took the team to Harrogate Turkish Baths for some R&R. Sometimes you’ve just got to press pause and get offline for a few hours.
📺After a super quick turnaround, we got to work PR’ing Freedm Street’s sell-out vegan, cruelty-free luxury beauty advent calendar for the second year running. Coverage on Marie Claire, Cosmo, ITV and You magazine straight off the bat, with plenty more to come. We’re also working with a range of YouTube, Instagram and TikTok influencers to promote the calendar, with amazing results for pre-sales. More on that soon…
🎉We landed some powerful product coverage in BBC Good Food magazine for our client Mojo sauce – right in time for their meeting with a major supermarket buyer! The planets aligned.
🏡We were hired by Manning Stainton to manage the ongoing extended PR programme for their newly acquired estate agencies, Ryder & Dutton and Mortimers, and the new umbrella company, Northern Estate Agencies Group. Testament to the great work we’ve been doing with Mannings since 2018.
🎓We swanned around our old campus at Leeds Beckett University, working as social media roving reporters at their graduation events. We also had our best month ever in terms of social media results.
✍️We had this lovely testimonial from one of our clients at the University of Bradford: “Content Soup became an invaluable extension of our marketing team. They adapted quickly with minimal input required, are so easy to work with, and have been producing some outstanding content."
