2025 Wrapped: Content Soup

As the end of the year closes in, we’ve taken a rare moment to look back on yet another great year at Content Soup - grabbing headlines, creating conversations, turning heads and prioritising strategies over stunts.

Clients
Our long-standing relationships with clients have seen us through another exciting and productive year.

We celebrated our seventh anniversary working with property clients Manning Stainton, Ryder & Dutton and Mortimers, elevating their individual brands, getting messages to the right audiences, and making them stand out through a targeted PR programme of media relations and community engagement.

Our collaboration with Rotherham Council continued through Rotherham’s year as the world’s first Children’s Capital of Culture. We started work on this boundary-breaking project in 2022, championing creativity, culture and the power of youth voice across the South Yorkshire borough and beyond. And the good news is, it’s not over! We will be continuing to support its bright legacy in 2026.

Meanwhile, we continued to support The Mad Butcher with the challenger brand’s mission to become number one in the UK premium meat snacking market. We’ve got them new listings, launched new products, transformed their social media and engaged content creators to help us build the brand.

We also delivered more powerful comms campaigns for Northern Gas Networks, focusing on their work with customers with additional needs. From carbon monoxide awareness to energy efficiency, our work for them has combined traditional PR with community engagement, event management and digital support, including social media and online content.

Elsewhere in gas, we worked with NGN’s talented innovation team to document their successes in their annual Innovation Report for 2024/25, writing about their projects and processes.

In higher education, we carried on shining a spotlight on the amazing students at the University of Bradford to aid recruitment, and helped Leeds Beckett create content for law students.

And we helped all of our clients with award entries, annual reports, and delivering crisis, tone of voice and media spokesperson training.

New business
We welcomed Department at Leeds Dock to the fold, cementing their position as the city’s best new office / co-working space and helping to attract new members and fill up new areas.

We had a gorgeous opportunity to work with Royal Ballet & Opera on the UK’s largest community opera, raising awareness of their commitment to increasing access to opera in the North. Tales Untapped: A Rotherham Opera made its debut in November, and we made sure it got the national attention it deserved.

We also worked with WOW: Women of the World Festival to celebrate women, girls, trans and non-binary people at its Yorkshire event.
And we added Sheffield Mutual to our portfolio of personal finance clients, maximising their community initiatives.

New faces
Our increased business this year allowed us to welcome some new faces to our team: Caroline, Cara and Jenny all jumped headfirst into the Soup, adding different flavours and ingredients to our ever-evolving recipe!

What’s in store for 2026?
It’s been a busy year of telling stories, amplifying voices, and helping our clients make a real impact. As we enter 2026, we’re excited to get stuck into new projects with as much passion and grit as you’d expect from the Content Soup team! We also want to increase our own learnings through a new training programme. 2026 will be more about our own personal and professional development.
